Our Grove GMK5275 works on the roof at BC Place in Vancouver.  During the job, the crane worked day and night, in various configurations up to its full 355′ Boom length.  A crew of two operators was used to keep up to the demand.  A large part of the work consisted of hoisting a manbasket to inspect and adjust the roof support cables.

Although the lifts being made were not heavy, they required a delicate touch from the operator to keep the basket smooth and controlled.  This control was made more difficult at night when you cannot rely of your vision to aid you.
